About this page” for Richard's Workshop Page

The workshop page started off pretty simple, but the amount of material soon grew to the point where it was burdensome for the returning visitor to scroll down in search of the new stuff.

The first move to overcome this was to set up hyperlinks for various subjects, (Front Wall, Rear Wall etc.) and to have separate pages for each. Even that has proved problematical, so further moves have been taken as follows:

1. For each hyperlink, a date has been added to make the latest addition to that page, so that the visitor can choose to view pages with recent update dates.

2. For each linked page, the file name is being changed each time the contents are changed, and the hyperlink changed accordingly. The intention of this, (and I hope it works) is that the visitor's browser will see the hyperlink as a new one and will have it marked by colour code (my Firefox does Blue for unvisited, and Purple for already visited) as unvisited.

3. I have set up a hyperlink labelled The very Latest. Whenever I make an addition to one of the other pages, I will place it here as well. The conents of this page will not grow with time, as I will delete all conents of it just before I make each entry. It will truly show ONLY the very latest.

(It might be of interest that I wanted to choose a contratsing type face for this hyperlink text. Once I made my choice, I found that it was supported by Firefox, and even (!) by Internet Explorer, but not by Chrome. To make it universally available, I have not put the text in the html, but a picture of the text in the selected face. This means that your browser will not change the colour of it when you visit it.)

Anything else I can do to make this page user friendly, please let me know.
